A Whole-Home Renovation for a Malvern East Family
This Malvern East project covered a bathroom, laundry and study. Three different spaces, one considered result.
The bathroom leads the way. Concrete-look tiles run floor to ceiling above an octagon and dot mosaic floor. A fluted freestanding bath sits beneath a timber-framed window. Every fixture is brushed brass, from the floor-standing bath filler to the rain shower and basin mixer. A pill-shaped LED mirror sits above a white shaker vanity with brass cup handles.
The laundry pairs matte black tapware with warm stone benchtops and cream cabinetry. A stacked washer and dryer keep the footprint compact, with bench space for the coffee machine and kettle.
An underused corner became a study. A floating timber desk and open shelving make the most of the space, with room for a piano.
